RG6 Quad Shield is new to the stock range in PVC and LSHF (Low Smoke Halogen Free) jacket options.
Precision manufactured using a physical foam PE dielectric with four layers of shielding makes RG6 Quad Shield Coax the ideal solution for a wide range of 75 Ohm coax line applications.
The foil/braid/foil/braid design provides EMI shielding to prevent distortion of CCTV pictures in electrically noisy environments and low signal loss on high quality video media transmissions.
RG6 Coax as a quad shield design has its roots in automation & process control applications. The LSHF jacket version meets IEC 60754-1 & 2 (toxic gas generation) & IEC 61034-2 (smoke generation) combining fire safety with ControlNet™ system performance providing an ideal solution for power stations, refineries and sensitive installations.
For aggressive environments in field or factory installations RG6 Quad Shield can be supplied armoured (SWA or steel braid) to prevent mechanical damage.
