Did you know the braid on a coax cable is not a screen but a second conductor?
Although it is often described as a screen it provides an important part of the signal transmission. For this reason it is important to know the quality of the coax cable that you are buying.
To reduce costs many suppliers will reduce the braid coverage - this is very common on RG59. By reducing the braid coverage the performance of the cable is dramatically reduced resulting in high signal loss and shorter run distances.
When it comes to coax cables cheap prices come with a cost!!
